Its ability to snap you out of whatever funk you may be going through at that moment in time, is unrivalled, my mission is to help you, and many others manage your stress and energy using this powerful tool as one modality.

I Started My Contrast Therapy Journey When...

Having never been one for the commercial gym saunas that are often overcrowded, not hot enough, produce a very dry heat or just not hitting the spot, it wasn't until around 2021 that the true appreciation of sauna culture emerged.


It was the pairing of the heat and cold, immersed in a natural setting at Divers Cove, that the benefits really shone through, filtering out into daily life.


Feeling more calm, less reactive and with a deeper sense of peace all week, the results were tangible.

Cold Water Immersion in Surrey 

As the consistency built, taking part in weekly cold water immersions paired with sauna usage, we started to notice knock-on positive effects and patterns in how we felt, not just immediately afterwards but also throughout the week.


With a newfound energy, sense of being more centred & ability to adopt new habits or remove old, unhelpful ones from our lives with more ease.


Contrast therapy is like pressing the Reset button on your day, week or life.

Contrast coach methods bring a multi-faceted approach to your wellness practice, drawing on ancient rituals and philosophy in conjunction with modern mobility techniques and science backed temperature exposures. It's a way of life.

Practice in person with us at Divers Cove, or online, either way you'll be part of our community of contrastnauts, contrastarians and explorers of the human experience. You'll be made to feel welcome in our non-judgemental space, that treats everyone with kindness and respect.

Contrast sessions are typically run in the following ways:

  • In person as part of a communal session
  • In person as part of a private session
  • Online from the comfort of your own setup

There are numerous benefits of a regular practice, with sessions tailored to your needs and abilities, however, there are some health conditions that contraindicate this, as such we recommend you seek guidance from your doctor or healthcare team if you have, or are experiencing:

  • Heart conditions, including angina, myocardial infarction, or have suffered a stroke
  • Pregnant
  • Paroxysmal cold hemoglobinuria
  • Recently undergone surgery 
  • Open wounds
  • Have seizures
  • High or low blood pressure
  • Raynaud's disease or circulatory issues 
  • Cold allergy (cold uticaria)
  • Deep vein thrombosis
  • Chronic regional pain syndrome (CPRS)
  • Exhaustion, adrenal fatigue or burnout 
  • Urinary tract infection (UTI)
  • Peripheral arterial occlusive disease 
  • Severe anaemia 
  • Tumours or undiagnosed areas of concern 
  • Medications affecting circulation or the body's ability to regulate temperature 
  • Highly sensitive people - due to an already up regulated nervous system
